The Erie Community Foundation is home to 75 donor named scholarships, and each scholarship has its own eligibility and criteria requirements. Many scholarships target students graduating from specific high schools, some for specific areas of study and others for financial need. Each scholarship is unique according to its donor's wishes, and each offers the opportunity to earn a scholarship for your education.
Each year, The Erie Community Foundation and its affiliates in Corry, North East and Union City, award scholarship money to students throughout the Erie area. Last year, The Erie Community Foundation awarded over $500,000 to 400 deserving students. Three of our larger scholarships, the Ernst Behrend Scholarship, the H.O. Hirt Scholarship and the Michael Relihan Scholarship, have online applications.
