Research and Development Funds to Advance Self-Sufficiency for Individuals with Disabilities

The Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects and Centers Program: Field Initiated Projects Program provides support for the development of methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technology that maximize the full inclusion and integration into society, employment, independent living, family support, and economic and social self-sufficiency of individuals with disabilities, especially individuals with the most severe disabilities. Support is also provided for research or development activities designed to improve the effectiveness of services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act. The application deadline is March 5, 2012.
