Meadville Rotary grants

[from GoCrawfordCounty via goErie.com] This year the Rotary Club of Meadville Grants Program will disperse up to $10,000 to promote the general welfare and civic improvement of the people of the Meadville area. The Rotary Club of Meadville, Grants Program was created for nonprofit organizations operating within the Meadville area. Projects eligible for funding include new capital or equipment needs, one-time program expenses or program startup, for the nonprofit organizations. No grants are awarded to individuals, political or religious groups, or for debt retirement.

Organizations who submit applications for the Rotary Club of Meadville, Grants Program are invited to request volunteer service time from the Club. Requests may be related to the project for which funds are requested, or they may be for other projects. The Club also considers requests for volunteer service separately. This year's grant recipients will be invited to the Annual Awards Ceremony March 23 at Wesbury, Meadville.

Organizations interested in consideration may contact any Rotary member or Tonya Moyer, Grants Program chairperson at (814) 602-6084. Additional information is www.crawfordheritage.org/rotarygrants. Applications must be submitted by Feb. 28.
