The Employment and Training Administration is pleased to announce the competition for the 2011 Employment and Training Research Paper Program and invites doctoral candidates and postdoctoral associates to apply.
The agency anticipates making awards ranging between $10,000 and $20,000 for seven months to produce original research projects, which lead to publications in peer-reviewed journals. Applicants can come from any discipline.
Winning proposals will address topics relevant to employment and training and exhibit thematic creativity, well-thought out designs, and valid and appropriate methods.
Applicants must fill out an applicant identification form and return it with the other required parts of their application packages to ETA.research@dol.gov by September 16, 2011.
